How to add Teachers in WPSchoolPress?

Go to “Teachers” option and click “Create New”
Fill the teacher’s information, create username and password and press submit
You can also upload JPG and JPEG image of that teacher(optional)
Go back and see the new added teacher’s details would be displayed in teachers’ list, if not then please refresh the page

If you want to add teachers in bulk quantity, you can import your CSV file in one go by purchasing our Import/Export and Print add-on
Whenever a new user is created, he/she will get a registration email with login credentials and url

How to login and access WPSchoolPress Admin Dashboard?

Whenever you try login to WP admin, click on WPSchoolPress Dashboard shown in the image, in order to access the WPSchoolPress dashboard.

After that you will be directed to the School Admin dashboard as shown below. Also if you again want to go to the wordpress backend, you can click on Admin Profile shown in the top right side and select “Back to wp-admin”.

WPSchoolPress Parent

All the Parents have the following roles and rights assigned:

Teachers – Can view teachers name, phone number and subjects handling in their kid’s class
Student – Can view their child’s detail
parent information – Can view their own information
Classes – Can view their child’s information
Class subjects – Can view subjects and their details of their child’s class
Marks – Can view their child’s marks
Exams – Can view their child’s class exams
Time table – Can view their child’s class timetable
Attendance – Can view attendance of his child
Events – Can only view events.
School Transport Information – Can view information about the Transport
Leave calendar – Can view their child’s class leaves/holidays/weekends

WPSchoolPress Student

All the Students have the following roles and rights assigned:

- Teachers – Can view teachers name, phone number and subjects handling in their class
- Student – Can view their classmates name list, parent names and address
- parent information – Can view their parent information
- Classes – Can view their information.
- Class subjects – Can view subjects and their details of their class
- Marks – Can view their own marks
- Exams – Can view their class exams
- Time table – Can view their class timetable
- Attendance – Teacher can add / update attendance of his/her class only and view attendance of all the classes.
- Events – Can only view events.
- School Transport Information – Can view information about the Transport
- Leave calendar – Can view their class leaves/holidays/weekends

WPSchoolPress Teacher

Following are the rights and roles given to teacher:

- Student and parent information – Can view & edit members of all classes (Information and Attendance).
- Classes – Can View information only.
- Class subjects – Can view subjects and their details of all classes.
- Marks – Teacher can add and update marks for all the subjects they are teaching
- Exams – Teacher can only view the exams of their respective subjects and class.
- Time table – Teacher can view timetable of all the classes.
- Attendance – Teacher can add / update attendance of his/her class only and view attendance of all the classes.
- Events – Teachers can only view events.
- Notify – Teacher can notify All Students, Parents and Teachers
- School Transport Information – Teacher can view information about the Transport.
- Leave calendar – Teacher can view all the leaves for all classes.
- Import History – Shows the history of all the imports made by the teacher.

WPSchoolPress Admin

As WPSchoolPress admin is also wordpress admin, hence “School Admin” can login and access their dashboards using wordpress admin credentials.

Admin Roles:

School Admin can add, update and delete;

- School, Student, parent and teachers’ information
- Classes
- Class subjects
- Events’ schedule as well as leave calendar
- Students and Teachers’ attendance
- School working hours
- School Transport Information
- Class Information
- Exams
- Import/Export and Print – Students, Parents, Teachers, Marks (paid addon)
- Send SMS notifications to single user, multiple users, role based groups, all users (paid add-on)
- Can approve/disapprove users registered from front end registration form (paid add-on)

Import Demo Data

Login to WPSchoolPress Admin Dashboard.
Go to Settings > General Settings.
